Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress who is best known for playing Detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS crime procedural drama series "CSI: NY," the character Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series 'Providence' as well as Dr. Lane Hunter on the The Resident, a medical drama'. The actress also won praise for her breakthrough television debut role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap series 'Guiding Light'. A few of her most memorable films are "15 minutes", "Percy Jackson And The Olympians The Lightning Thief" and "Snitch".
